Myersiohyla

Myersiohyla is a genus of the family of tree frogs ( Hylidae ).

Description

The genus is defined by different genetic characteristics. There is as yet no morphological synapomorphy of the taxon known.

Occurrence

The species of the genus are common in Guyana and Venezuela in the field of tepuis.

System

The genus was Myersiohyla 2005 Faivovich et al. first described. It is named after Charles Myers.
