The grove Forget- me-not (Myosotis nemorosa ), also called mountain forget- me-not, is a member of the Borage Family ( Boraginaceae ). It flowers from May to August.

Appearance

Most two-year, rarely perennial herbaceous plant reaches a height of about 10 to 40 cm and usually has no foothills. It is similar in appearance to the marsh forget- me-not (Myosotis scorpioides ). The stalk is the reason bald or down has directed hairs. It can also occur plants with erect or upward hair. The stem is usually sharp and shiny. The leaves are oblong - lanceolate and somewhat pointed. The lowest stem leaves are sometimes stalked and have at hand, mostly for the foliage leaf base directed, not lying hair. The remaining stem leaves are sessile. The fruit cup is more than 5 mm long. The calyxes are in after flowering greatly elongated wrapping. The diameter of the blue colored crown shall not exceed 6 mm. The fruit part has a maximum width of 0.8 mm.

The Hain- me-not grows in wet meadows, ditches and in wet forest clearings.

Popularization

The overall spread of this type is known still insufficient. In Austria and Switzerland it is apparently against scattered.

Distribution in Germany

The Hain- me-not is in Germany, especially in the southern part of absent-minded. On the further spread of this kind must be taken in the future.
