N. U. Unruh

NU Unruh ( Andrew Chudy actually; born June 9, 1957 in New York City, USA ) is a German musician, percussionist and experimental instrument builder, who was best known for his role as sound engineer of the band Einstürzende Neubauten.

Biography

In 1980, NU Unruh with Blixa Bargeld, Gudrun Gut and Beate Bartel the band Einstürzende Neubauten. Balance plays in this group usually on the homemade percussion instruments and drums. In 2000 published his balance first and only solo album Euphoria in the age of digital information transmission. Unruh is a member of the group Bombus as " electronic dance music combined with drummers, performers and DJs " itself ( German: " combined with drummers, performance artists and DJs electronic dance music " ) describes.
