Naco is a small town in the Mexican state of Sonora with 6,064 inhabitants ( 2010). Naco, capital of the municipality of Naco, located on the border of Arizona against the U.S. TV spot Naco at an average altitude of 1408 meters in the time zone UTC - seventh Main source of income is agriculture. The city is located about 95 miles from Nogales ( Sonora ).

History

Naco was founded in 1901 and was originally called Nahua. The name comes from the Opata language. Naco is famous for the Battle of Naco, which took place in 1915 between two Mexican parties.
