Nafeh

Nafeh (Persian نافه ) is an Iranian literary and art magazine that appears monthly in Tehran. The first issue of Nafeh was published in 1998. The Journal is managed by Nahid Tavasoli; Editor in chief is Mohammad Ghouchani.

The editorial of Nafeh include journalists, who previously worked with Iranian magazines and newspapers such as Shahrvandemroz, Irandokht, Etemādmelli and Schargh that were banned by the Iranian judiciary.

Nafeh published reviews of Iranian and foreign books, movies and television series. Another issue is the visual arts. The magazine commemorates the birthdays and death days of writers or artists. Another focus is on interviews with writers, poets, artists and directors. Among them are writers and poets such as Viktor Erofeev, Ahmad Schamlou, Orhan Pamuk and Mahmoud Dowlatabadi, directors and film producers such as Abbas Kiarostami and Asghar Farhadi and composers and singers like Mohammad Reza Lotfi.
