Nahal

Nachal (Hebrew נח"ל ) is an acronym of the words Noar Chaluzi Lochem ( נוער חלוצי לוחם, " Fighting Pioneer Youth" ), a movement that was founded in 1948.

The Nachal was to unite in 1948 by David Ben- Gurion as a development of pioneering youth with the aim of agriculture and military service, was founded. Thus, the Nachal was mainly involved in the founding of kibbutzim.
