Naina Devi ( Hindi नैना देवी, Naina Devī ) is a small town in the district of Bilaspur the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. In 2001 lived in Naina Devi 1161 people, with men constituted nearly two-thirds of the population. The city is known for its Naina Devi Temple.

The famous temple of Goddess Naina Devi is situated on a mountain. He is on the National Highway no. 21 and to achieve a connecting road that leads to the mountain, and a staircase. Also there is a cable car connection. From the mountains can overlook, which was created by the Bhakra Dam and the Gobindsagar reservoir.

On 3 August 2008, there was a stampede, when several Hindu pilgrims were 10,000 on the way to Naina Devi Temple. More than 145 people are believed to have been killed, mostly women and children. The accident had arisen by rumors of a landslide and rockfall in the crowd. A short time later to have collapsed under the pressure of crowds a railing. Another report claimed that the deaths were caused by a panic as a result of a fight. One again another report gives the police the debt.
