Nammo

Nammo AS is a Norwegian defense company headquartered in Raufoss. The Group is active worldwide with subsidiaries. It mainly produces infantry ammunition and weapons. In addition, it is one of Europe's leading supplier of specialty business of munitions destruction. Special know -how, the company has over its Germany - site at so-called cluster munitions.

History

1998, today's group was formed by the merger of Patria Industries Oyj, Finland, the Celsius AB, Sweden and Raufoss ASA, Norway. 2005 Patria Oyj and the Norwegian government were involved in 50% each in the company.

In Germany, the Nammo Buck GmbH in Pinnow, the Nammo Beautiful Beck GmbH (former Lapua GmbH) in Beautiful Beck and 60% ND PressTec GmbH sword in members of the group.
