Naoko Mori
Naoko Mori ( born November 19, 1975 in Nagoya, Japan ) is a Japanese- British actress. She played leading roles in, among others, Torchwood and Doctor Who.
Life
Naoko Mori grew up in Japan, the United States and England. When Mori was 15 years old, her family moved back to Japan. Mori decided to stay in London and attended a drama school. As a 17 -year-old she played in London's West End starring in the musical Miss Saigon at the side of John Barrowman.
After that, she began her career in front of the camera in television and film productions build. After an appearance as Dr. Sato in the British series Doctor Who she achieved her breakthrough when Russell T. Davies took her and her character as the main role for his science - fiction series Torchwood.
