Naoko Sakamoto (runner)

Naoko Sakamoto (Jap.坂 本 直 子, Naoko Sakamoto, born November 14, 1980 in Nishinomiya ) is a Japanese long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

In a marathon, the World Athletics Championships 2003 in Paris / Saint- Denis, she finished fourth at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens in the same discipline seventh.

In 2003, she posed as a third party in the Osaka Women's Marathon with 2:21:51 personal best at, a year later, she won this race in 2:25:29.

After a competition break of three years, she was fifth in 2007 at the Berlin Marathon.

Naoko Sakamoto has a competition weight of 44 kg at a height of 1.60 m.
