Nark of Champasak

Nark or Nak ( full name Brhat ruler Chao Naraksha Negara Champasakti, * 1774, † 1850 in Bangkok, Thailand) was a prince governor ( Chao Mueang Nakhon Champasak ) used by the rulers of the kingdom of Siam Champasak.

Nark was first brought up at court. 1828 appointed him King Rama III. of Siam to the Maha Uparat (Deputy Ruler ) of Champasak. In 1840 he was regent for his older brother Huy, whom he succeeded after his death as Prince Governor for a short time.

Nark died 1850 in Bangkok from cholera. He left six sons and four daughters:
