Nart saga

The sledges are a legendary people of semi-divine heroes from the myths and epics of many peoples of the Northern Caucasus, especially of Circassians, Abkhazians, Ossetians, Karachay, Balkar, the Ingush, Chechens and Abasinen.

The name probably derives from the Mongol word Narta ( sun).
