Nasief Morris

Nasief Morris ( born April 16, 1981 in Cape Town ) is a South African football player.

Career

In the club

Nasief Morris began his professional career with the football club Santos FC, a club from Cape Town. In 2001, the center-back to the Greek first division club Aris Thessaloniki. When Aris Morris knew from the beginning through performance to convince and managed despite its small for a central defender height of 1.76 m, in the basic formation of his club. In the summer of 2003, he finally moved to Panathinaikos Athens. In 2004, he won with Panathinaikos Greek league and cup double. 2008 Morris was loaned to Recreativo Huelva, Spain.

2004 Morris was voted the best defender in Greece.

In the National Team

Morris was in 2004 in a friendly match against Australia in London his debut in the South African national team. In 2008 he took over as starting players participating in the African Cup of Nations, failed with his team but in the preliminary round. By the then national coach Joel Santana, he was appointed to the provisional squad for the Confederations Cup 2009.
