Nasser Gemayel

Nasser Gemayel ( born January 2, 1953 in Aïn - Kharroubé ) is a Lebanese priest and bishop of Notre -Dame du Liban de Paris.

Life

Nasser Gemayel received on 30 August 1981, the ordination. Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 16 January 2012 for the Bishop of Notre -Dame du Liban de Paris and Apostolic Visitor of the Maronites in Western Europe and North America.

The Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Béchara Pierre Raï OMM, donated to him on August 30th of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Camille Zaidan, Archbishop of Ante Lien, and Samir Mazloum, Emeritus Curia Bishop of Antioch.
