Nat Friedman

Nathaniel Dourif Friedman (born 6 August 1977), known as Nat, is an American programmer who has founded in 1999 along with Miguel de Icaza, the company Ximian, which was bought in 2003 by Novell.

Friedman was from 1999 to 2001 CEO of Ximian. Later, David Patrick was appointed as an external CEO after the company had received $ fifteen million venture capital.

Before Ximian Friedman worked on the project GNU ROPE. In 1999 he was awarded both in computer science and in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Bachelor.

Since May 2011, Friedman CEO of Xamarin, one he co-founded and Miguel de Icaza companies.
