Natalia Verbeke
Natalia Verbeke ( born February 23, 1975 in Buenos Aires ) is a Spanish actress of Argentine descent.
Life
Verbekes family moved mid-1980s to Spain. The actress made her debut in the Spanish comedy thriller Un buen novio from the year 1998. In the thrillers Brotherhood of Death (1999) and Kasbah (2000) and in the comedy To the End of the Road (2000), she played one of the major roles.
For both their roles in the comedies Jump Tomorrow (2001) and The Wrong Side of the Bed (2002) was awarded in 2002 with the Catalan Ondas Award Verbeke. Role in Jump Tomorrow also brought her a nomination for the 2001 British Independent Film Award. For her role in The Wrong Side of the Bed, she was nominated for the 2003 Premios Edición Unión de Actores and for the Premios del Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos. In the thriller The Venice Code (2004) she again took a starring role; Played supporting roles in this film, among others Rutger Hauer and Malcolm McDowell.
