Nate Burleson ( born August 19, 1981 in Calgary, Alberta) is an American football player in the National Football League ( NFL). He is the younger brother of basketball player Kevin Burleson.

Life

Youth

Burleson played for the team of Lindbergh High School in St. Louis, Missouri, and later moved to the O'Dea High School in Seattle. In his senior year of high school, he was nominated by the Seattle Times for City Athlete of the Year, but did not win the award.
