Nathan Bor

Nathan " Nat" boron ( born March 1, 1913 in Fall River, Massachusetts, † June 13, 1972 in New Bedford ) was an American boxer.

Boron, the Russian- Jewish origin, was an amateur boxer in 1932 U.S. national champion at lightweight. He then accepted for the United States participated in the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles and won the bronze medal the lightweight class. In the semifinals he was defeated by the Swedes Thure Johan Ahlqvist, but then was able to prevail in the fight for third place against the Italian Mario Bianchini.

After the Games, he joined the professional camp and completed by 1940 48 pro fights, but without having much success.
