National Association of School Psychologists
National Association of School Psychologists ( NASP ) is the largest national professional organization of school psychologists in the United States with headquarters in Bethesda (Maryland). One of the goals of NASP belongs, to support the work of school psychologists in the United States. NASP developed standards of ethics and practice of school psychologists.
NASP is a member of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education ( NCATE ).
The NASP complements the organization American Psychological Association (APA), than it is in competition for the APA.
The NASP are two publications:
- School Psychology Review ( the second largest academic, psychological journal in the United States)
- Communiqué, the official newspaper of NASP
