National parks and nature reserves of Israel
In Israel there are numerous protected areas, in which 63 (as of 2008 ) are undeveloped for tourism facilities provided by the Israel Nature and Parks Authority ( INPA, dt about "Israeli authority for nature and parks " ) managed as national parks and nature reserves and be entertained. When Israeli national parks or nature reserves often is a combination of scenic conservation areas and archaeological or other nationally important sites.
Since the parks and reserves are centrally and uniformly managed by the INPA, they count as Israeli parks and reserves, regardless of whether they are in the Israeli heartland or in the disputed territories Golan Heights or the West Bank.
