National Unity Party (Philippines)

The Partido de Unidad Nacional (Spanish for Filipino: Partido ng Pambansang Pagkakaisa ), or abbreviated PUN, is a Christian democratic and Muslim- democratic and center-right populist oriented political party in the Philippines.

It was founded on 4 February 2011 by former members of Lakas to Roberto Puno, which seceded after internal disagreements. The party is part of the run of the Partido Liberal coalition in the Cámara de Representantes de Filipinas, where the Partido Unidad Nacional de holds as a single party 24 of 292 seats. It also provides 8 of the 80 provincial governors, vice governors 5 of the 80 and 73 of the total 926 members in the Provinzdirektorien.

The Partido de la Unión Nacional accredited by the Electoral Commission in a resolution of 5 October 2011 concerning the national party. Headquarters is the NLIC Building in Ayala Avenue in Makati City. The party color is green.

On September 26, 2012, the Partido de Unidad Nacional held its first National Convention, and expressed their support for the team PNOY in the general elections of 2013. However, most members of the Partido de Unidad Nacional Alianza Unida support the Nacionalista to Garcia.
