National Women's Hockey League

The National Women's Hockey League ( NWHL ) was between 1999 and 2007 to the best woman hockey leagues worldwide. The league was founded in 1999 as the successor to the Central Ontario Women's Hockey League and consisted mostly of a Canadian team. As of 2000, the Mayor of Brampton, Susan Fennell, Commissioner ( Commissioner) of the League. Even if the league was trying to work as professionally as possible, this league was a purely amateur league. In 2007, the league that games and, most teams were transferred to the Canadian Women's Hockey League.
