Native Nod

Native Nod were a Emocoreband from New York that existed in the early 1990s.

History

The band only existed for a short time in the 90s, although their influence on the following Emo or Screamobands still is extremely strong.

In epitronic it says on the influence of the band:

" Native Nod what One Of Those pioneering bands from the early '90s helped define the Which anxious, inordinately sincere roaring hardcore sound soon known as emo ' "

In the period in which the band existed, she brought out three EPs together with only nine songs that later Blandsten by their label Gern Records were summarized as the album Today Puberty, Tomorrow The World and republished.

After dissolution, the members of the band played in some other groups further, as The Van Pelt, The Lapse and Ted Leo and The Pharmacists.

Style

Your style is characterized by emotional sung - sometimes even spoken - texts, as well as more shouted passages of text. There are also a "nervous" acting guitar and a bass and drum rhythms faster.

The band is considered both as influential in terms of the so-called Screamobands resulting in the nineties, as well - so at least some opinions - on some bands, notably Cap'n Jazz, whose style was later rewritten with indie rock emo.
