Naval pentathlon
The Maritime Military Pentathlon is a sport, part of the Conseil International du Sport Militaire; this sport was built in 1959.
1959 joined the Bundeswehr CISM, but in 1968 took part in the competitions. The sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr in Eckernförde is commissioned in 1972 and again to represent the Bundeswehr in the sport of Maritime pentathlon in international and domestic competitions.
The " sports promotion group Eckernförde " since 1983 was several times World and European champion in both the team as well as individual scores; In 1983 and 1996, the CISM World Cup Marine Pentathlon, 2004 discharged the CISM championship of this sport in Eckernförde. Finally, the German team in 2011 was vice-champion in the team competition at the 5th Military World Games in Rio de Janeiro.
