Naveta

Naveta refers to a prehistoric large stone building on the belonging to Spain Balearic Islands. The navetes of Mallorca and Menorca are known especially by the better -preserved remains in Menorca that are associated with a phase of island culture in the beginning of the Bronze Age.

Form

The naveta has the shape of overturned vessel. It is rounded at the leading side apsidenförmig and at the rear side, where their only access is blunt.
