Navíd Akhavan

Navid Akhavan ( born June 9, 1980 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian - German actor.

Life

Because of the Iran - Iraq War, the family fled to the then four- year-old Navid from home. They lived for some time in the U.S. but since 1985 Navid lives with his father, his mother and his younger brother Omid three years in Germany.

Navid grew three languages ​​( English, Persian, German ) and learned from his father, a concert promoter, a very early stage and the audience know. At eight, he began on the stage to dance, joined more than 200 times in the opening act at various concerts. After his education at the Cologne drama school center for movement, dance and drama from 1999 to 2002 soon followed by engagements in theater, film and television productions. He acted both in Shakespeare's Macbeth, as well as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet.
