Navisbach

The Navisbach rises in the Tux Alps, flows - also called the upper reaches in the rear Navistal Klammbach - by Navis and reaches a length of about 14 km. It flows in a westerly direction to the north of Steinach am Brenner in the Sill. He happens in the middle of the valley the place Navis.

The water is consistently clean and reaches the water quality class I-II. The creek supplied Navis with drinking water from a reservoir on the outskirts.

The Navisbach is structurally a torrent. However, the water flows quietly, making it less dangerous. Should one underestimate the creek not, because there have been incidents that it overflowed its banks during floods.
