Nazanin Afshin-Jam

Nazanin Afshin -Jam ( born 1979 in Tehran ) is a Canadian human rights activist and singer of Iranian origin.

Nazanin Afshin -Jam was elected Miss World Canada and Miss World America in 2003 and in the subsequent elections to the Miss World contest in second place. In 2007, she released her first album.

As a human rights activist she is particularly committed to the needs of children and young people and founded the organization Stop Child Executions, which campaigns against the execution of minors world.
