Neferu (III.)

Neferu ( III.), also Nofru or Nefru, was the wife of the ancient Egyptian king Sesostris I and the mother of his successor Amenemhat II was the daughter of Amenemhet I. As the mother of a king it was entitled " Courage Nesut - biti ", " Mother of the king of Upper and Lower Egypt. " As the daughter of a king she bore the title " princess ". As a wife of a ruler they bore the title " king consort ". Nofru is in a small pyramid inside the pyramid District of Sesostris I been buried in Lisht. It is to their lives otherwise nothing further known. It is called in the famous story of Sinuhe. Sinuhe was a palace official with the title " servant of the king's harem ."
