Nehodiv

Nehodiv ( German Nehodiw ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 19 km east of Klatovy and belongs to Okres Klatovy.

Geography

Nehodiv located in the foothills of the Bohemian Forest on Planitzer comb ( Planicky hřeben ). The village is situated on the southeast slope of the hill Stírka. In the south, the valley of the Štipoklaský Brook, which flows into the pond Myslívský fishpond in the southeast runs.

Neighboring towns are Polánka in the north, and Draha Myslív in the northeast, Milčice in the east, in the southeast Loužná, Zdar in the south, Stipoklasy the southwest, Lovčice in the west and Pohoří in the northwest.

West of Nehodiv are marble quarries. In them you won the so-called Nepomuk marble ( Nehodivský mramor ). This gray striped marble is excellent weather resistant. At the bus station of Holešovice four geometric bodies are seen. In the region around Nehodiv he has been happy, even in the rural architecture, used in the past for grave times and entrance stairs.

History

Nehodiv was first documented in 1558.

After the abolition of patrimonial regimes in 1848 Nehodivo was part of the community Stipoklasy. 1869 became the village in the district Klattau the autonomy. Since the 1920s, the present-day city name Nehodiv is in use. From 1950 to 1961, the village belonged to Okres Horažďovice. After its dissolution Nehodiv came back to Okres Klatovy. On 1 July 1975 Nehodiv was incorporated into Myslív. By the beginning of 1992, the municipality Nehodiv arose again.
