Neil Bibby
Neil Bibby ( born September 6, 1983 in Paisley ) is a Scottish politician and member of the Labour Party.
Life
Bibby visited the Kilbarchan Primary School and the Gryffe High School. He then studied social sciences at the University of Glasgow and graduated as Master.
Political career
At the age of 17 years Bibby joined the Labour Party. Before he was elected to the Scottish Parliament was Bibby already chairman of the youth wing of the Labour Party and Chairman of the Labour Student Association. In 2007 he was elected to the Regional Council of Renfrewshire. In the Scottish Parliament elections in 2011 Bibby made his first on to national elections. However, he applied not to the direct mandate of a constituency, but was placed on the Regional Evaluation of the Labour Party for the election Region West Scotland. As a result of the election results, he received one of the three mandates of the Labour Party list for West Scotland and moved for the first time in the Scottish Parliament.
