Neil Findlay

Neil Findlay ( born March 6, 1969 in Broxburn ) is a Scottish politician and member of the Labour Party. Findlay attended the St Kentigerns Academy in Broxburn and West Lothian College. He also earned a bricklayer in the family business. He then studied at the University of Strathclyde and University of Glasgow. He then worked for a housing association, and finally as a teacher at various primary and secondary schools in the region Falkirk. Since 2003, Findlay is an elected member of the Regional Council of West Lothian. He is also a member of the teachers' union EIS.

In the 2011 parliamentary elections Findlay first met in for national elections. He did not applied for the direct mandate of a constituency, but was placed on the Regional Evaluation of the Labour Party for the election Lothian. As a result of the election results to him as one of seven candidates of the party succeeded in gaining electoral list in the Scottish Parliament.
