Nell Leyshon

Nell Leyshon (born 1962 in Glastonbury, Somerset, England) is an English playwright and author.

Life

Leyshon graduated with an honors degree in English Literature at the University of Southampton. Since 2002, she published her plays, which were first aired in part as radio plays on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 3. Two of her novels and two short stories in one volume were laid between 2004 and 2008.

Leyshon, 2011 was a guest lecturer at the University of Southampton. She lives in the county of Dorset.

  • 2007: Winter. listed in Newfoundland, Canada
  • 2007: based on a short story by Daphne du Maurier Do not Look Now which had been given by the Sheffield Theatres in order. During the performance at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield with music by J. Peter Schwalm Lucy Baily directed. Further performances took place at the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, London.
  • 2009: Paradise. with the spectacle of collective Salt Factory of Dorset was listed in the southwestern England.
  • 2010: Bedlam. at the Globe Theatre in London. It is the first piece of a female author, which was performed at the Globe since its inception in 1599 and plays in the 18th century also known as Bedlam in the 2011 still existing in Bromley London insane asylum Bethlem Royal Hospital. Premiere at the Globe was on September 5, 2010.
