Nematollah Nassiri

Nematollah Nassiri ( 1911 in Semnan *, † 16 February 1979) was the former chief of the Imperial bodyguard of the Shah of Iran Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and from 1965 to 1978 director of the Iranian secret service SAVAK.

Nematollah Nassiri was involved in the 1953 coup against Mohammad Mossadegh (see Operation Ajax ). He had the order to bring the imperial decree deposing Mossadegh to this.
