Neo (Hungarian band)

Neo is a Hungarian electronics lineup.

Band History

Neo was founded in autumn 1998 by Mátyás Milkovics and Márk Moldvai. Their first single, The Pink Panther Theme, has been published in over 20 countries. After the two albums Eklektogram and Lo -Tech Man, Hi- Tech World, the two were touring - supported by three musicians tour - through their home.

Notoriety in Germany gained the band in particular through the film Control, whose soundtrack was provided by them.

Early 2004 and went Milkovics Moldvai separate ways; Milkovics formed new with the new additions Ms Hodosi, Péter Kovary and Gergo Szőcs neo. Already in 2005 the fourth album was planned. The single from this album, Record Straight, however, appeared only on 6 July 2006.

Awards

The soundtrack to the film "Control " won several awards, including the Mozart Prize of the 7th kind of Aubagne International Film Festival 2004.
