Nerodimka (river)

The Nerodimka ( Albanian: Nerodimkë; Serbian Cyrillic Неродимка ) is a river in the countryside Field of Blackbirds in Kosovo.

The river measures 41 km, it drains an area of 229 km ² and is not navigable. The Nerodimka created by the confluence of two mountain streams from Nerodimka Mountain and from Crnoljeva Mountain. Then it flows past to the north of the villages Jezerce, Gornje Nerodimlje and Donje Nerodimlje.

Bifurcation

East of Donje Nerodimlje " divides " the river: the smaller, flowing northward stream passes through the corridor of Jerli Perlez and opens tight southwest of the neighboring town Mira in an influx of Sitnica. The larger, flowing south-east part is now called Lepenac. The Lepenac flows west past the town of Ferizaj and flows into the Vardar Skopje.

In the main European watershed near Gornje Nerodimlje on the ridge Crnoljeva in 1364 meters above the Adriatic catchment areas of the Adriatic, Aegean and Black Seas meet. As a hydrographic feature occurs in the Field of Blackbirds, the bifurcation of the Nerodimka on ( Lage42.3720821.11964 ), which drained via the Sitnica, an orographic right tributary of the Ibar into the Black Sea and the Lepenac as orographic left tributary of the Vardar in the Aegean Sea.
