Neslihan Demir

Neslihan Demir Darnel ( born December 9, 1983 in Eskişehir ) is a Turkish volleyball player.

Career

Neslihan Darnel played from 1998 to 2002 in Istanbul Spor Kulübü at Yeşilyurt. She then moved to the top club Güneş Sigorta Vakıfbank İstanbul, with whom she was twice Turkish champion and 2004 won the European Top Teams Cup. In 2006, she went to the Spanish top club CV Tenerife and took third place in 2007 in the Champions League. In 2008, the striker returned to Güneş Sigorta Vakıfbank Istanbul and moved in 2010 to local rivals Eczacıbaşı Istanbul. Here it was 2011 and 2012 Turkish Cup winners in 2012 and won the Turkish Cup.

Neslihan Darnel debuted in 1999 in the Turkish national team. She participated in several World and European championships and was several times awarded as " Best Scorer". At the Olympic Games 2012 in London, she was flag bearer for Turkey.
