Middle stream course along the Nice road

The Nice is a 8.0 km long, orographic right tributary of the river Lenne in North Rhine -Westphalia, Germany. The river is located entirely in the field of belonging to Märkischen county town of Altena.

Geography

The stream originates as if Esch Eider river about 1 km southeast of Dahle at an altitude of 458 m above sea level. NN. The source is located below the saddle between Big Attig (512 m) and Kohlberg on the northwest side of the ridge. From here, the creek flows mainly in western direction through the villages Dahle, stone angle, Cute and flows on the southern outskirts of the village mill to 158 m above sea level. NN in the Lenne. The mouth is located northwest of the castle hill with the castle of Altena.

On its 8.0 km long road the Cute overcomes a difference in altitude of 300 m, corresponding to an average bed slope of 37.5 ‰. It drains a 14.788 km ² large catchment area over Lenne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea.
