The military airfield Nevatim located southeast of Beersheba in the south of Israel. He is one of the largest in the Israeli Air Force and was, after the Israeli withdrawal from the Sinai, founded in 1983.

Here stationed F-16s were in the attack on the Osirak reactor in 1981 involved.

The radar system of the type AN/TPY-2 cost NIS 1.63 billion and is staffed by about 120 people in the U.S. armed forces.
