New Spirit Party

Fryma e Re (Albanian for New Spirit, short term FER ) is the name of a former political party in Kosovo. It was founded on October 5, 2010 by Shpend Ahmeti and Ilir Deda, as well as other members. The party campaigned for democratic development of the state of Kosovo. " We do not distinguish citizens because of their origin ... they are individuals and each is represented without respect of persons ," said Deda in an interview. The party participated in the parliamentary elections in Kosovo in 2010 and reached 2.2 percent and no parliamentary seat. FeR accused the government of Prime Minister Hashim Thaci before manipulation of the process of the elections. On 30 March 2011 joined the FeR Vetëvendosje! on the grounds that, smaller parties should join together to form larger parties in order to bring about changes.
