New York Lizards
The Long Iceland Lizards is a professional lacrosse team in New York. Since the 2001 season, they are members of Major League Lacrosse. They play in the minor league Eastern. The President of the Association is David Kotowski.
History
2001 Lizards played their home games in two different places from: the Hofstra Stadium and today's Citibank Park. In the 2002 season, then played only in the Hofstra Stadium. Since 2003, the Lizards play at Mitchel Athletic Complex now, which is located in Uniondale, New York. The Lizards have 2001, 2002 and 2003, won the championship of the American Division, as well as the title of the Major League Lacrosse in 2001 and 2003.
