New Zealand Muslim Association

The New Zealand Muslim Association ( Muslim Society of New Zealand ) is the oldest Islamic organization in New Zealand, was established in 1950 in Auckland. They built the first Muslim House of New Zealand in 1959.

1979 built the company the first mosque in the whole of New Zealand. The architect of the church, Abdul Salaam Drake, was a convert to Islam from New Zealand.

The most important church leaders of the company are members of the Bhikhoo family from Gujarat in India and the Albanian refugees Mazhar Krasniqi and Nazmi Mehmeti.
