Ney Fabiano

Ney Fabiano de Oliveira ( born February 9, 1979 in São José dos Campos ), called Fabiano, is a Brazilian footballer who currently plays for the Thai Bangkok Glass FC.

He spent his early years in the minor leagues in Brazil before moving to the Thai Premier League for FC Thailand Tobacco Monopoly in 2007. In his first year in Thailand he was top scorer with 18 goals and helped his club to a 6th place in the league. Thereupon, the reigning champion FC Chonburi him committed for the 2008 season. During Chonburi he came nothing but headaches scored in the 2008 season just two goals. Also in the AFC Champions League, he could barely shine and awarded numerous opportunities. His only two goals in this competition, he succeeded against Melbourne Victory. However, this seemed to be sufficient for Melbourne Victory to undertake Fabiano immediately. Even during the season, he moved to Australia on July 1. The amount of the transfer fee is not known. However, both clubs agreed an intensive cooperation in sports science and medical fields.

With Melbourne Fabiano was 2008/ 09 Australian champion. Reach him during the season with five goals in 15 appearances. In the final round he only came to an insert in the Grand Final he was sitting as a substitute on the bench. Matchday 4 of the season he was locked sent off for six games for spitting at his opponent Robert Cornthwaite. Fabiano could never prevail in Melbourne right and was mostly off the bench. He completed 30 games for the Australians, scoring 6 goals. In December 2009, Ney Fabiano went back to Thailand. He signed a two-year contract with FC Bangkok Glass.
