Ney Rosauro

Ney Rosauro ( born October 24, 1952 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian composer and conductor Marimbavirtuose.

Rosauro began in 1977 with his studies in his home city of Rio de Janeiro. As a composer he wrote more than 50 works for percussion and some educational books. His works are known worldwide and have been performed by artists such as Evelyn Glennie and the London Symphony Orchestra. He received his master's degree at Siegfried Fink at the University of Music Würzburg, his PhD at the University of Miami with Fred Wickstrom.
