Nežárka

The Nežárka ( Naser German, Czech and 1654: Včelnice ) is a right tributary of the Lainsitz in the Czech Republic.

It arises in Jarošov nad Nežárkou by the confluence of Kamenice and Žirovnice. At its run to the southwest are the villages Rodvínov, Jindřichův Hradec, Horni Zdar, Dolni Zdar, Horni Lhota, Lásenice and Dolni Lhota, where the river changes its direction to the northwest.

Other cities along the river are Straz nad Nežárkou, Albrechtice and Hamr nad Nežárkou. After 56.2 km, the Nežárka opens in Veseli nad Lužnicí in the Lainsitz.

When was Šimanov opens the Nová Řeka a channel built in 1590 to protect the largest Central European pond Rožmberk ( Rosenberger pond ) Třeboně flood damage prevention, to derive the water Lainsitz created in the Nežárka.
