NGC 2060 is an astronomical fog resulting from the remains of a stellar explosion, a supernova remnant like the Crab Nebula. It is located in the Tarantula Nebula in the constellation of swordfish and is listed in the New General Catalogue. It was discovered in 1836 by John Herschel.
Inside 1998, a pulsar (PSR J0537 - 6910 ) was discovered with a period of 16 ms, which is also originated from the star at the supernova 5000 years ago.
