NGC 2915

NGC 2915 is an irregular galaxy in the constellation Chamaeleon about 15 million light- years away from Earth. The galaxy NGC 2915 was discovered on 31 March 1837 by the British astronomer John Herschel.

The visible portion of the galaxy is surrounded by many larger spiral structure of non ionisertem hydrogen, such as photographs show the radio range.
