Niangao

As niangao (Chinese年糕, Pinyin niangao, W.-G. nien- kao, New Year cake ', literally, years cake ') is called a Chinese specialty, originally from the south of the country, Zhejiang Province, Ningbo City, comes from. Originally, the noodle-like rice cake was eaten only as a special treat for the New Year, nowadays it has become almost a staple. Niangao be boiled, fried, steamed or fried served.
