Nick Hayek, Jr.

Nick Hayek ( born October 23, 1954 and actually Georges Nicolas Hayek; native entitled Meisterschwanden ) is a Swiss entrepreneur. He is the son of Nicolas Hayek.

Life

After graduating Hayek studied for two years in marketing at the University of St. Gallen and was an intern for six months in a foundry. After that, he spent five years in Paris. There he studied at the Film Academy and founded a production company. He worked as a director, as the culmination of his work applies the film Family Express (1992 ) with Peter Fonda. 1994 Hayek went back to Switzerland, where he joined as vice president and marketing director of Swatch AG in the run by his father Swatch Group. Since 1 January 2003, he is the Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) and since 2010 a member of the Board of Directors of the Swatch Group.

Hayek is married and lives in train.

His sister Nayla Hayek has since his father's death in June 2010, President of the Board of Directors of the Swatch Group.
