Nick Herbert

Nicholas Le Quesne "Nick" Herbert ( born April 7, 1963) is a British politician.

Life

After leaving school in Haileybury Herbert studied at Magdalene College, Cambridge, Law and Economics. After his studies he was employed by the British Field Sports Society and spent six years working for this organization. He then worked in the private sector and took part in the campaign against the euro and for the preservation of the pound sterling.

In the parliamentary elections in 1997 for the British House of Herbert failed in Berwick -upon- Tweed. Since the British general election, 2005, he is for the constituency of Arundel and South Downs as an MP in the British House of Commons.

Since May 2010 Nick Herbert, Minister of State for Policing and Criminal Justice in the UK Home Office (Home Office ).

Herbert lives with his life partner Jason Eades, whom he married in January 2009, together in Arundel.
